Privacy Policy effective starting April 2022
Your privacy is important to Insight Terra, and so is being transparent about how we collect, use, and share information about you. This policy statement is intended to help you understand:
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not access or use our website or interact with any other aspect of our website.
We collect information you provide when submitting any of the forms on our website. We use Google Analytics, further described below, to collect information about your interaction with our website’s pages.
Cookies help us to improve the way our website works, for example, by ensuring that users are finding what they're looking for easily. By using our website, you agree that we may store and access cookies on your computer or mobile device (referred to in this policy as a “device”).
We may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file. Our website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of our website. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our website and also allows us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalised service.
A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers which is sent to your device by the web server so that the website can remember some information about your browsing activity on the website. The cookie will collect information relating to your use of our site, information about your device such as the device’s IP address and browser type, geographic data and, if you arrived at our site via a link from a third party site, the URL of the linking page. We cannot control nor do we have access to any cookies placed on your computer by these third party sites.
The cookies we use are “analytical” cookies. They allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around the site when they are using it. This helps us to improve the way our website works, for example, by ensuring that users are finding what they are looking for easily. You can find more information about the individual cookies we use and the purposes for which we use them below. All of the cookies listed below work on an anonymous basis and carry no information about an individual’s

You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our site and/or the functionality of some parts of our website may be affected. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you log on to our site.
Except for essential cookies, all cookies will expire after 30 days.
By default, Google Analytics (referred to in this policy also as “Analytics”) uses the entire IP address of website users to provide general geographic reporting. When IP anonymizing is enabled, Analytics removes the last octet of the user’s IP address prior to its use and storage. Insight Terra enables this setting in its Analytics account so your full IP address is not recorded. The Analytics information is anonymous (i.e. it cannot be used to identify you and does not contain personal information such as your name and email address) and it is only used for statistical purposes.

The ‘Request a demo’ form is used to send Insight Terra the details you provide about yourself and your company when you complete the form. The request is processed and stored through Insight Terra’s email server. By clicking SUBMIT FORM on our ‘Request a demo’ form, you consent to us contacting you in response to the demonstration you have requested from us, and you are agreeing to our Privacy Policy. We do not provide your completed form information to any third parties.
Analytic performance cookies are used to monitor the performance of our website, for example, to determine the number of page views and the number of unique users our website has. Web analytics services are designed and operated by third parties; Insight Terra uses Google Analytics. As a user navigates between web pages, Analytics provides website owners JavaScript tags (libraries) to record information about the page a user has seen, for example the URL of the page. The Analytics JavaScript libraries use HTTP Cookies to “remember” what a user has done on previous pages and interactions with the website. The information provided by these cookies allow us to analyze patterns of user behaviour on our site and we may use that information to enhance user experience or identify areas of the website which may require maintenance. We can also analyze which pages are viewed on our site and how long for, and which links are followed.
We only use your directly submitted information to contact you about your request on our website. We do not provide your completed form information to any third parties.
Most of the currently available browsers give you the option of managing cookies by, for example, disabling them entirely, accepting them individually, and deleting saved cookies from your hard drive. To learn more about cookies, visit www.allaboutcookies.org or go to the help menu within your internet browser. If you experience any problems having deleted cookies, you should contact the supplier of your web browser.
If you would like to opt-out of Google Analytics, please do so by clicking on the links below. Please note that Insight Terra assumes no responsibility for installing any third party software:
