Edward is a qualified metallurgist and mining professional with over 30 years' mining industry experience in a wide range of roles. He is very passionate about finding ways to help the mining sector better manage their risks and operate more sustainably as they rise to the challenge of powering the green energy transition. In this context Edward is Senior Mining Advisor to VoltVision, a leading technology and data analytics company helping mining companies reduce power consumption and CO2 emissions.

Most recently Edward has been CEO of a FTSE 100 mining company, Non-Exec Chairman of both a FTSE 250 base metal mining company and a FTSE 250 gold mining company, and Senior NED of a FTSE 250 diamond mining company. Edward is a Fellow of the UK Institute of Directors.
